Baby Book 2

I've spent the better part of 2 days this week working on a project that was a TON of fun!  I just love the idea of a whole year's scrapbook in a short amount of time.  This one was a book I made for my new niece...with no pictures yet because they are to be added by the busy mom.  Each page is for a month of Kayla's first year.  With SU!'s Nursery Nest set (both the paper and the stickers), this went together in a jiffy.  I'll let the pictures do the rest of the sharing.  :)

By the way, this wasn't my idea.  This is where I first saw it!

 I had so much fun with this project that I'm thinking of doing a similar project for myself.  Not a baby book, but a book scrapped ahead of a particular event or trip.  That way all I have to do is print the pictures and add them in.  The more I think about it, the more I like it!  What do you think?

So Grateful

De temps en temps, je prends le temps de dire merci à certains qui rendent mon monde plus doux.  Voilà un exemplaire récent.  Ce set de tampons "Apothecary Art" est un de mes préférés dans le catalogue d'été.  Surtout avec les poinçons "Framelits". Vous pouvez encore les acheter: le catalogue dur jusqu'au fin août 2012.  Contactez moi vite si vous ne pouvez plus vivre sans!!  Moi-même, j'étais mordue!

 J'aime ces couleurs de papiers ensemble.  Aujourd'hui je me suis dis "Ok, cette fois je cherche des couleurs que je n'ai jamais mis ensemble."  Donc j'ai choisi fruits des bois, vert olive et moutarde forte, une combinaison assez surprenante pour moi car je ne suis pas toujours attiré vers la moutarde, sauf sur mes hamburgers!  :) Le résultat me plaît beaucoup, qu'est-ce vous en pensez?

Sometimes (not as often as I should!) I take the time to thank someone who makes my world better.  Here is a recent example.  This is one of my favourite set of stamps: Apothecary Art with the accompanying Framelits "Labels collection".  You can still buy them...they're in the summer mini catalogue until the end of August 2012. 

I really like these colours together.  Today I decided to challenge myself to find colours I had never put together before.  I just love the result...what do you think? 

Un peu d'enchantement

Comme d'habitude, je suis toujours entre des millions de choses, et pas toujours dans mon coin de "Stamp'Art".  Mais, aujourd'hui, j'ai abandonné le jardin et toutes autres choses pour me permettre un peu de détente avec mon papier et mon encre!  Voici le résultat: Un petit mémoire de notre mariage en honneur de notre troisième anniversaire!

As usual, I am always in the middle of doing a million things, which results in a major neglecting of my craft corner.   But today I broke down and surrendered to the call to create something!  Here is the result: a tribute to our wedding in honour of our third anniversary.  It sure felt good to let those creative juices run wild for a while...even if I did have to pick beans in the twilight!
