It's always lovely to welcome spring and the season of rebirth. And there is not a better way to celebrate this time than with friends, creating lovely celebratory projects. Recently, a group of us got together on a lovely summer day to let our creative spirits loose! Here's the project that we worked on, using the stamp set Easter Blossoms, only available until the 30th of April 2012.

We had a wonderful time sharing and stamping around our beautifully-decorated table. Thanks so much to our hostess who not only welcomed us into her beautiful home but served us amazingly beautiful and delicious snacks to reward our hard work!

This stamp set is so easily adaptable to any joyous occaison, not just Easter. And so versatile in terms of techniques that could be used with it. Here is just a another simple card using watercolouring to make the flowers pop out. I like how the beauty of the flowers is gently captured using this technique.

C'est toujours un vrai plaisir d'accompagner les fleures qui sortent en jardin avec des belles représentations en papier et encre. Vive le printemps!
Flowers always beautify a card, but how much more they seem to delight the eye when there are actually flowers blooming in the garden. Hooray for spring!
